Arko (Shiboprosad Mukherjee) was a promising cricketer with a flair for bowling, till an unfortunate accident , followed by a botched surgery ruined all his prospects. Being unable to provide for his family, and supported by the income of his wife Riya (Sampurna Lahiri), Arko turns his entire attention to the care of his little son, Babai (Sankarshan Das), who means the world to him.

But fate decides to deal him another shattering blow. One morning disaster strikes as Arko is taking his son to school. A private bus fails to brake in time and runs Babai over, even as Arko escapes unharmed. But his world will never be the same.

Instead of letting his grief shatter him after losing his son, he sets out to get justice. In his fight, Arko is joined by an insurance agent (Debshankar Haldar) and a bus driver (Rudranil Ghosh), both inextricably linked to the case.

The three men, products of different circumstances and stratas of society, set out to unravel the truth from a mesh of malice and bureaucratic formalities. Revelations are made that’ll change the way we look at deaths that are touted as ‘purely accidental’.

How far will they have to go to uncover the unwholesome truths behind why accidents really occur?
